Hi Sue. Most part of the fort has been restored/renovated. It is still close for public due to the ongoing restoration. you can see a sort of wall behind the fort...this is part of the 7 mile long wall that serves as fortification and a prominent feature of the Bahla Fort.
Gorgeous! I had to look up where to find Bahla Fort. Last time I was in Oman I planned to visit Nizwa, but ended up in Nakhal instead. Love to come back and see more :)
